JODIE PRIESTLEY

I have worked in Children's services for over 2O years.  I have had various roles within Residential schools/PRU's for children and young people with SEN and BESD.

I took a short time out to raise my own 2 children, before working my way up in Children's residential care.

I am now Deputy service Manager of a small therapeutic children's service, educated to level 5, with various qualifications in safeguarding, counselling and Mental health.  I am passionate about understanding behaviours and supporting children and young people with their emotional well-being.

In my spare time I enjoy being involved with Skipton juniors football Club, I volunteer at Homeless not helpless and am a trustee of Greatwood & Horseclose community.   Being born and bred in Skipton and bringing up my own children here I feel it a must to support our local secondary school.
