Evan is part of Next Generation Act, a group of up to 26 talented young people aged 13-18 who work together to hone and develop their skills as actors. Last week, Evan travelled to Stratford Upon Avon for February half term, where he met and worked with the Next Generation company on a production of ‘Hamlet,’ which the company will be performing at The Other Place Theatre in Stratford on 28th and 29th of July 2023.

We are really proud of Evan and his achievements. He has worked tirelessly over the past few years and it is great to see his hard work pay off. Evan said his experiences of working on various projects with the RSC since Year 7 has improved his confidence, enjoyment and understanding of Shakespeare and acting in general, and being an RSC school ambassador and participating in various Playmaking Festivals has been an inspiration and solidified his decisions about a future career. He added that ‘being part of the RSC and joining the Next Generation programme has truly been one of the best experiences of my life. I am so grateful to have been given such a great opportunity!’
