SEN Information Report and Offer 2023-24

Here at The Skipton Academy we firmly believe that every child has the right to a varied, challenging and exciting education. We understand that some of our young people need additional support in order to access the curriculum and we endeavor to provide a range of support that helps our students with additional needs to feel a part of the school community. We welcome any contact from parents and carers, whether you already have a child attending our school or if you would like to come and look around the school and meet the team. Moorlands Learning Trust

About our trust

Moorlands Learning Trust (MLT) was formed on July 1st 2017, when Ilkley Grammar School converted its single academy trust to multi-academy trust (MAT) status. The Skipton Academy joined in 2019 as our first partner academy, and during 2023/24 we welcomed Ashlands Primary, Burley Oaks Primary, Eastburn Primary, Menston Primary and Nidderdale High School.
