Inclusive Victory for TSA
The Skipton Academy was proud to participate in the Panathlon Challenge this term, a multi-sport event designed to promote inclusion, teamwork, and fun through accessible competition. Students competed in a wide range of activities including long jump, bowling, speed jump, and target throwing—all tailored to engage and empower young athletes of all abilities.
The event brought together students from ten schools, creating a vibrant and supportive environment where effort and enthusiasm were celebrated above all. Our TSA students represented the school with pride, cheering each other on and showing tremendous sportsmanship.
Their commitment paid off in a big way, with our teams securing both Gold and Silver medals. The joy on students’ faces as they stood proudly with their medals was a powerful reminder of how inclusive sport can uplift, unite, and build confidence.
Events like Panathlon demonstrate that every student deserves a chance to shine. We’re proud of everyone who took part and look forward to many more inclusive sporting events in the future.
