Skipton Academy Closed Due to Snow

Due to the heavy snowfall in the Yorkshire area, Skipton Academy has made the difficult decision to close the school on Friday 10th March 2023.

The safety of our students is paramount and the closure is to protect them from the adverse weather conditions.

All students will be provided with remote learning resources and tasks to complete in the absence of physical lessons. These will be set on ClassCharts and should be completed by Monday 13th March 2023.

Exams that were scheduled to take place on Friday 10th March will be rescheduled to a later date. All students affected by this will receive an email informing them of the new exam date and time.

Skipton Academy will be open as normal on Monday 13th March 2023. We hope that all of our students are able to stay safe and warm during this time.
