Will Wins in Water

Will has made waves - literally - at the Yorkshire Swimming Championships 2025, where he represented Skipton Swim Club with outstanding results. Competing at top-tier venues in Leeds and Sheffield over three weekends, Will took part in nine events and reached the finals in three.

Among his stellar performances, he claimed a bronze medal in the 100m Breaststroke and a gold medal in the 50m Breaststroke, clocking in at a superb 39.07 seconds. That time officially ranks him as the fastest 12-year-old in Yorkshire and places him 14th nationally.

Will has been swimming since age 9 and continues to show that dedication and training pay off. He’s now setting his sights on the North East Regional Championships later this month, with the entire school cheering him on.
