Empowering Students to Save Lives

Our school proudly celebrated the successful participation of 140 students in the Restart a Heart Day program, an important life-saving initiative delivered in collaboration with Yorkshire Ambulance Service. This program provided students with essential CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training, equipping them with the skills necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations.

The training covered key techniques such as chest compressions, rescue breaths, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Under the guidance of certified professionals, students gained both the practical skills and confidence required to act quickly and decisively during a cardiac emergency.

Restart a Heart Day plays a vital role in raising awareness of the importance of CPR, a critical skill that can make the difference between life and death. With prompt intervention, the chances of survival increase significantly, and our students are now better prepared to provide assistance when it is most needed.

We commend all the students who completed this important training and express our gratitude toYorkshire Ambulance Service for their partnership and expertise. Their commitment to community health and safety has helped equip our students with the knowledge and skills that will serve them and others for years to come.
