School Start Delayed Due to Ice

To ensure student safety amid icy conditions, a staggered start is in place today, Wednesday 8th January . The ice has made both the school site and surrounding roads hazardous, necessitating adjustments to the regular schedule.

Arrival Schedule:

• Years 7 and 11: Arrive between 8:45 and 9:15 AM and proceed directly to the main hall or Period 1.
• Years 8, 9, and 10: Arrive between 10:15 and 10:40 AM and head to break or Period 2.

Students are strongly advised to walk to school if possible, as the leisure center car park is icy and largely inaccessible. For those being dropped off, please use Gargrave Road to avoid further congestion and hazards near the school site.
