Our careers programme has been designed with the student at the heart of it. Ensuring that every young person leaves The Skipton Academy with the skills, knowledge and understanding in being able to tackle and deal with the challenges of the world ahead.

Moorlands Learning Trust (MLT) was formed on July 1st 2017, when Ilkley Grammar School converted its single academy trust to multi-academy trust (MAT) status. The Skipton Academy joined in 2019 as our first partner academy, and during 2023/24 we welcomed Ashlands Primary, Burley Oaks Primary, Eastburn Primary, Menston Primary and Nidderdale High School.
