Aspiring young chefs from The Skipton Academy seized the opportunity to compete in the Rotary Young Chef Competition at Craven College. Their dedication and enthusiasm made the Academy proud.
Moorlands Learning Trust (MLT) was formed on July 1st 2017, when Ilkley Grammar School converted its single academy trust to multi-academy trust (MAT) status. The Skipton Academy joined in 2019 as our first partner academy, and during 2023/24 we welcomed Ashlands Primary, Burley Oaks Primary, Eastburn Primary, Menston Primary and Nidderdale High School. In 2025, Benton Park School became the first secondary school in Leeds to join the Trust and in the same year, Talbot Primary School joined the Trust as the first primary school from Leeds.
